The recent attempts to malign the reputation of our Archbishop, Most Rev. Alexander Chibuzo Ibezim, PhD, through fabricated stories and baseless assumptions are both desperate and unfortunate. Archbishop Ibezim, who serves as the Archbishop of the Province of the Niger and Bishop of Awka Diocese (Anglican Communion), remains a man of discipline, integrity, and truth. These unfounded allegations are clearly politically motivated to distract us and lack any form of credible evidence.
We urge the public to disregard such falsehoods and avoid speaking on matters without proof or direct involvement. The Diocese of Awka, Anglican Communion, has thoroughly addressed the issue, cleared Archbishop Ibezim of all allegations, and passed a resounding vote of confidence in his exemplary leadership.
