Governor Chukwuma Soludo, CFR, on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, inaugurated the Members of Anambra State Independent Electoral Commission (ANSIEC).

The Commission members are as follows:

  1. Magistrate Chinelo Genevive Osakwe – Chairman
  2. Mrs. Bernardine Obande FCA – Member
  3. Barr. Osita Cyril Igbokwe – Member
  4. Sir Chinedu Anthony Nnalue – Member
  5. Helen Ifeyinwa Umeh – Member
  6. Mr. John Emeka Okeke – Member

This Commission is tasked with setting the date for local government elections and overseeing the organization and conduct of peaceful and transparent local government polls in Anambra State.
