SUBJECT:WARNING ON UNRECOGNISED AND UNAUTHORISED GROUP ACTIVITIES
- NOTICE OF NON-RECOGNITION:
This is to formally notify the general public that a certain faction,parading itself under the nomenclature of the “Association of Non-Indigenes of Anambra,” IS NOT RECOGNISED by the Government of Anambra State under the leadership of His Excellency, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo, CFR.
Consequently, ANY INDIVIDUAL, CORPORATE ENTITY, OR GROUP that engages, transacts, or associates with this unrecognised faction for any purpose whatsoever DOES SO ENTIRELY AT THEIR OWN RISK. The Anambra State Government and the legitimate association will accept no liability for any consequences arising from such unauthorized interactions.
- WARNING ON UNAUTHORISED EVENT:
The attention of the public is drawn specifically to an unauthorized event being promoted by this unrecognised group,labelled as an “End of Year Party / Induction of New Igwe’s Cabinet,” and scheduled for 7th December 2025.
THE GENERAL PUBLIC IS HEREBY DIRECTED TO DISREGARD THIS EVENT IN ITS ENTIRETY. The said gathering is ILLEGITIMATE, UNRECOGNISED, AND UNAUTHORISED by the State Government. Attendance, sponsorship, or participation in this event is strongly discouraged and will be considered a wilful association with an illegal body.
- LEGITIMATE LEADERSHIP CLARIFICATION:
For the avoidance of doubt,the SOLE DULY RECOGNISED LEADER of the Association of Non-Indigenes of Anambra State, as endorsed by the present administration, is PRINCE CHIGOZIE NWEKE.
Any individual or group operating outside the legitimate structure led by Prince Chigozie Nweke is acting fraudulently and without any official mandate. ONLY INTERACTIONS AND COMMUNICATIONS CHANNELLED THROUGH THIS RECOGNISED LEADERSHIP ARE DEEMED VALID AND OFFICIAL.
- FINAL ADVISORY:
We urge the good people of Anambra State and all residents to be vigilant and to verify the authenticity of any group claiming to represent non-indigene interests.Always seek confirmation from officially published government channels or the undersigned legitimate association.
