As the Chukwuma Soludo administration clocks three years today, citizens of the state believe that although the governor may have scored high in some economic indices, there are still a lot of areas he needs to devote attention to.
Speaking with some people of the state, our correspondent observed that there appear to be some sort of appreciation of Soludo’s governance ideology.

According to a lecturer with the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Prof Austen Azubogu, the state has made significant progress, especially in the areas of roads, education, health and resource management.

The professor said, “At the beginning, I was very critical of this government, sincerely the result of his action are now unfolding. I can say Anambra has faired well under Soludo in the last 3 years. He is deliberate, focused, he is taking it step by step, if I am to score him, I will score him A , yes he is touching every aspect of life, he is making the average Onye Anambra to think government should touch how people reason”.

On his part, a youth advocate, Comrade Benedict Chidobem, believes that the way the governor has governed the state, has again made the state an example to other states. According to Chidobam, “The Idiology of the state Governor which is focused more on infrastructural developments, economic transformation, and human capital development. The environment is excellent if executed well. Anambra State in the last Three years have experienced infrastructural developments especially in the areas of road construction, generation of more revenue for the state and improvement in security situation.”

They however, spoke on areas they want to see the government touch in the next one year. For Prof. Azubogu,
“If I am in his shoes,I will select some school and start that practice of apprenticeship learning model, set up in some of this schools basic production outfits, where students learn how this common everyday needs are produced.”
Comrade Chidobam said

“The government in the next one year, should try to improve on security situations, do more roads, attract more investors and renew the environment in Anambra State.”
